TEHCMs
Transmission Electro-Hydraulic Control Module. It’s a component found in modern automatic transmissions that combines the electronic control module and the hydraulic control system into a single unit. The TEHCM is responsible for managing and controlling various functions within the transmission, such as shifting gears, regulating hydraulic pressure, and engaging the torque converter.
Each TEHCM is remanufactured to ensure optimum performance and reliability. All Transmaxx reman TEHCMs modules are meticulously cleaned. Pressure switches, seals and screens are replaced. Units are then hot hydraulic tested and sent clean from programming so it can be programmed specifically to the vehicles VIN.
CVTs
Continuously Variable Transmission can seamlessly change through an infinite number of gear ratios within a specific range. This allows the engine to operate at its most efficient RPM across various speeds, which can improve fuel efficiency and provide smoother acceleration.
